Sleep Apnea Monitor For Infants

Can I request to daughter be tested for sleep apnea mean? How do they test a child for this?

The other night my daughter's breathing pattern were from an end when they sleep. (Doc says this in infants), you sleep with the angle sensor under her mattress care and it went off. I ran into her room, and they seem real quiet. I pushed on her back and her little hands moving. I am so freaked out. The sensor monitors Angle Care was twice that night. The attempt to find out what happened …… and what to do next. I spoke with her doctor and she told me to keep an eye on her at night and that was it. She is 7 weeks old

You should request that they be checked for sleep apnea and if her doctor will not do … Then you get another doctor. All it is, a package with wires that monitor "stick" to her little chest and breathing. It remains, even for a second monitor, breathing, and goes out and warns her startling awake. My youngest had to wear one for months. It is really scary at first. And there's a lot to handle. But it is better than cure. Being as young as she is, she will probably need to carry it around the clock, except for baths for a while and then they will monitor to take the Recording device, from and read the results. Good luck and God bless
