Are Dr. 's diagnosis of the sleep apnea to increase the profits of the CPAP machines manufacturer?
I guess the sleep neurologist, the diagnosis further push the issue as apnea (vs. narcolepsy, for example), even if a sleep study shows otherwise. It seems every dr. CPAP machine is next to rent. I ask me if they are part owners or stock holders drums up business. Just ask … I have DRS 3 All told the same thing as stated by the tests showed only mild sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is than one sleep disorder and neurologists in general, the treating physician.
Well, without too special, I have a relative who all his life for a pharmaceutical manufacturer worked. The financing of research he did was mysteriously in the early eighties when they were drawn very close to a cure for asthma. Of course, the company was a major manufacturer of asthma medications. Hmmm ….. No healing = more profit. I think there are many companies / individuals in the health sector, the are very suspicious. Always a second opinion, or maybe ask a professional holistic view, just to get another. **************************** Edit: Regarding your additional comments, it seems to justify three opinions try to bite the bullet and, the CPAP. My ex-husband (snoring was a factor in our divorce) was diagosed after he remarried and loves his CPAP, if that helps.
