Sleep apnea breathing help?
My daughter has been diagnosed with sleep apnea, "Central", which means they breeths normal when you awake, but not breathe well during sleep. While they slept breething becomse very flat, not enough to keep her oxygen level. This leads to numbness and finally wakes up her every hour or two. My question is: Is there breething exercises, or natural ways of this state other than just treating the symptoms with oxygen or an injection to heal positiive air machine. You do not want to live with contraptions hooked to it the rest of her life. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The doctors we met them be to treat only the symptoms not the cause.
The cause is neurological, in contrast to the more common "obstructive" type of apnea. Your brain is not easy to tell the body to breathe to be the way when she sleeps. can treat the symptoms is about the best to do at this point …. will do not go messin with a brain! The other answers here sleep apnea are talking about the other kind of.
