Sleep Apnea Machine For Babies
Baby has apnea. please help?
my baby is 7 1 / 2 months old and he is still on an apnea monitor. He was 5 weeks early and remained on the neonatal ICU for 2 weeks due to bracycardia and apnea. We were sent home with the monitor's Brady's were gone. They advised us that he would grow out of it. also last night his monitor went 2 times for a moment and then stopped. I checked him, and he was breathing. My question is how long he will be monitored, have on and there is someone out there who has the same problem. Just last month I was ready for them to come and Get the machine but he had two episodes out of a clear Heaven he has not had in about 3 months now suddenly he, with 2-3 per month. They did tell me that his heart rate does not go down when he has these episodes. I know not whether it makes a difference, but he had a double ear infection and has been sleeping his room with a humidifier. any suggestions would be appreciated to be
My son was on an apnea monitor to. One night I was up all night, literally, goes with the thing off every time he would go into a deep sleep.I also noticed that when the monitor went my son was breathing and doing well. I called his doctor and they checked it out and checked the settings on the monitor. You checked out the monitor and said that the setting needed to be adjusted, which in fact a normal heart rate and respiratory rate was for him the registration to the abnormal Monitor, because the setting was set for a younger child and he had grown up.
